About Word-ing

Word-ing is a translation agency for translations from and into Western-European languages and we are specialists in texts about architecture, construction, engineering and tourism.

Word-ing was set up by Saskia Steur, a qualified architect and accredited translator of English and Dutch. She has gained extensive work experience in architecture and translating, not only in the Netherlands, but also in the United Kingdom. Previous experience includes running renovation projects n Amsterdam, planning hospitals in London, translating specifications, manuals, books on architecture, CVs and web sites.

The agency started in 2002 with translating texts on architecture, then solely from and into Dutch and English. Specific investments in software, knowledge and marketing have brought Word-ing a varied client base and a broader range of specialist subjects. English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch are now our main working languages, and we are collaborating in with a number of other, reliable translation agencies in the Netherlands and the UK.
